As an author, Irfan Shahid humbly acknowledges that he is not an Economist or an authority on any subject. Instead, he considers himself a devoted student of Economics, Islamic Finance, Shariah Law and Islamic History. His academic journey began in a traditional Madarsa (Islamic Seminary), where he delved into the study of the Quran, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, Islamic History, Arabic Language, as well as Economics, Finance, and English Literature.

Irfan Shahid’s pursuit of knowledge did not stop there; he went on to earn Master’s degrees in Economics, Banking, Finance with Shariah, and Law. His dedication to learning is evident in the numerous certificates and diplomas he has received in various disciplines of knowledge.

A passionate writer, Irfan Shahid focuses on socio-economic issues faced by Muslims around the world. His insightful articles, reports, analyses, and research papers are regularly published in reputable magazines, journals, and newspapers in India and abroad.

With a thirst for knowledge and experience, he has traversed many countries, broadening his perspectives. As a skilled communicator, he has delivered lectures and Juma Khutba in multiple countries, addressing audiences in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic languages.

Presently, Irfan Shahid serves as an adjunct professor in Mumbai, where he imparts his expertise in Economics, Finance, and Research Methodology. He also shares his knowledge as a guest lecturer on Islamic Studies and Islamic Finance at various institutes in India and abroad.
